From Aleppo to the World

The journey starts in Aleppo's training rooms and contest halls, then expands into Syria, the Arab and Africa region, and the wider world stage. Each step turns local preparation into broader representation.

A readable contest-day sequence helps teams and coaches prepare well.

01

Practice day

Teams register, receive materials, test the contest environment, and complete a rehearsal round without affecting official standings.

02

Official contest day

Teams solve a set of algorithmic problems over five hours while standings update dynamically before the freeze.

03

Closing ceremony

Final rankings, medals, and qualification outcomes are revealed at the ceremony, adding suspense and public recognition.

Serious preparation begins well before qualification and final team selection.

Fundamentals and algorithms

Students typically start with problem solving, algorithms, data structures, and disciplined analysis.

Regular problem sets

A healthy club gives students a visible path from easier problems to more demanding competitive material.

Mock contests and rehearsal

Speed, time management, and one-machine teamwork only become real through rehearsal under contest-like constraints.

Team selection and qualification

Once the training base is in place, tryouts and team formation can serve official contest participation.
